We also suggest you to prior to the excursion though we suggest you to please see your doctor and obtain necessary permission and advice, as well as medications for travelling in extreme altitude prior to the excursion.

A tea house trekking arrangement will be made for you for the 10 Days Everest Base Camp trekking whereby you will be able to stay at local lodges and have wholesome food and comfortable bed throughout your trekking journey. This form of arrangement also allows you to carry less baggage; you can hike at your own pace and enjoy the Everest panorama on your own schedule. It is also an eco-friendly way of trekking whereby trekkers can have more contact with the locals.

Most of the tea houses on Everest trail have squat toilet facilities, but recently built lodges have western style toilets as well. Nowadays, flush toilets are also being introduced with number of increasing foreign mountaineers each year. It is highly recommended to carry your own toilet paper and other required toiletries. Hot shower facilities are available till Gorakshep. The most common type is a bucket shower, usually buckets with tap filled with hot water and placed in a shower room. Hot shower costs from US$ 4 to 15 per use and the price increases along with the elevation. Attached bathrooms and toilets are not available unless you book for a luxury lodge during the EBC trek.

Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. Nights are generally colder than the days. Winter (December, January, February) will be colder but the days will be beautiful with clear sky. A bit of snowfall can be predicted in January, February and December. It is also important to make sure that you stay warm and dry in just about any weather conditions. Average Temperatures in Nepal (in Degree Celsius)

And, traveling is an investment and we believe that insurance makes your investment secure. It is a condition of joining any of our adventure trips that be protected against comprehensive expenses potential to incur due to medical issues or accidents (to include helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and treatment costs). Please be noted that we do not arrange or sell insurance.

A relaxed trip is not possible without good travel insurance. In the event of any sickness or injury, the cost of emergency treatment and evacuation is shocking. Therefore, travel insurance is strongly recommended for everyone who signs up with us. We strongly recommend that you be careful while choosing a policy as some make special exceptions for adventure travel. Before buying your insurance make sure your insurer is aware of our adventure itinerary that you are going to undertake and is agreeable to cover all activities being undertaken in the trip. Such as if you are planning trekking or hiking/walking holidays in the Himalayas, your insurance must cover emergency air ambulance/helicopter rescue including medical expenses. For group tours in urban areas, your insurance coverage of ambulance or helicopter rescue is not mandatory, however better to have it with them too. Also, check your insurance policy firmly to even include trip cancellation, as all deposits paid are non-refundable.
