Adventure Nepal Travel - Tour, Trek & Wildlife Safari

Adventure Nepal Travel offers an amazing verity of adventure holidays ranging from a Himalayan trek to the rafting trip to its thrilling rivers and exciting jungle safari tours to its tropical national parks. This adventure trip includes two of these activities, trekking and wildlife safari.

We start our adventure trip visiting the unique medieval monuments and heritage sites in Kathmandu and fly to Pokhara which serves as a gateway for the treks to the famous Annapurna region. Pokhara is one of the beautiful cities in Nepal with nice lakes and great snow-capped Mountain View. We spend a day in Pokhara visiting a waterfall, boating on the lake and wandering around the lovely market before heading for the trek. A scenic and short drive to reach the trailhead and start our Annapurna base camp trek.

This is a classic trek to the base camp of Annapurna south, known for the best Himalayan views and dramatic glaciers. This is the only trek in Nepal that takes you to the base camp of such high mountains like Annapurnas in a relatively short time. The trek is considered not a difficult one, anyone with normal physical fitness can enjoy this adventure holiday.

During the trek we walk mostly uphill, passing through river valleys and rice terraces, dense forests of rhododendron and magnolia and enjoy the several waterfalls we see along the trails. On the fifth day of the trek, we reach the base camp of the Machhapuchare (Mt Fishtail) and next day we visit the very base camp of the Annapurna South. It is great scenery to be surrounded by so many High Mountain and dramatic glaciers all around.

While coming back to Pokhara, the undulating farm terraces and the culturally rich beautiful hill villages and its friendly inhabitants will be another attraction.

From Pokhara, we drive to Chitwan national park (5hrs) and stay in a safari resort by the park. There we enjoy safari activities like canoeing, elephant back safari, bird watching, elephant breeding center visit, etc. Rhinos, dears, crocodiles, monkeys, and a great population of birds, etc are among the animals seen in the wild. Back at Kathmandu, we celebrate your amazing trip with farewell Nepali dinner with traditional cultural show.

Trip FAQ

Trip FAQ

The best tourist’s season in Nepal with the summer gone by and the winter to set is Autumn (mid September-November). The weather is highly pleasant so are the mountain views. While Spring season (March-May) is also considered as the good season. The temperature is mildly warm in low lands while moderate in higher altitudes with plenty of opportunities to have a tryst with the mountain views. It is also the time for flowers to blossom and the national flower of Nepal – rhododendron sweeps the ascending altitudes with its magnanimous color and beauty. Winter season (January-February) is also recommended for tours, safari and low altitudes trek below 4000m. But for some areas of Nepal, Tibet and India, Summer season (June- August) are the best months because these areas are ‘rain shadows’ and monsoon is much lighter here.

Exploitation of its workers is often overlooked and a darker side of the Nepal tourism industry and unfortunately it’s a serious issue. However, we are firmly committed to upholding the rights of trek workers; including guides, Sherpas, porters and cooking staff. We provide all our staff with award-rate salary, insurance, proper equipment, training, and excellent medical treatment. Also, we work in a partnership with the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG).

There are many ATM machines in the Kathmandu and Pokhara Valley. ATM machines are slowly being introduced to other cities like Bhuwtal and Dharan.

Actually, there are so many things to take back home depending on your personal choice. Nepal is well known for its handicraft materials, pashmina, Nepalese art and craft, and Nepali musical instruments like Madal and Banshuri are the items to purchase. Moreover, Nepali carpets are also best known among tourist customers. And the best place to shop these goods is around the Thamel area.

Absolutely Nepal is safe for the traveler. Firstly, Nepal is considered as one of the peaceful countries in the world (chances are it’s safer here than your home country). Secondly, while you’re on one of our trips, we take personal responsibility for your well-being, a responsibility we commit very seriously.

Our tour guides are carefully selected from their experience, abilities, knowledge and good personalities. They speak English fluently and are well trained and skilled in trekking methods and safety. They are specialized on physical setting of Nepal. They give first priority to health, security and hygiene before doing anything else. They believe in quality rather than quantity. Your guide will be a friend and a companion, who takes pleasure in showing you his country's specialties and making sure that all our trekkers have an enjoyable trek.

Porters are hired at the beginning of a trek to make sure that most of the costs our clients pay go directly into the local community.

Personal travel insurance is not included in our package. We recommend you to get the insurance from your home country and please ensure that your insurance policy must cover for repatriation, high altitudes, trekking and climbing, and helicopter rescue. Please forward your insurance details (e.g. policy number, 24-hour emergency telephone number, name of insurance company) to us when available.
