Khopra Ridge (Danda in Nepali word) trek is a newly explored trek in the Annapurna region that offers stunning views of snowcapped mountains and an exposure to various ethnicities of the region. This less crowded trek is ideal for families travelling with kids as the trails are made properly and are easy to walk on with not too high altitude.

The heart of the popular Annapurna region, Kopra Ridge trek finally been developed as a trekking destination and is therefore less crowded than the more popular trails in the Annapurna region. The Kopra Ridge trek is particularly suitable for mixed ability trekkers looking for a 9 day experience within easy road access of Pokhara. Trekkers will be rewarded with a variety of scenery – including vibrant rhododendron forests, terraced rice fields and alpine landscapes. Along the way trekkers can catch a glimpse of local wildlife and experience panoramic views of iconic Himalayan landmarks, such as Mount Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Nilgiri (7061 m), Bharha Shikhar (7647 m) and Annapurna I (8091 m). The teahouses dotted along the trail will provide a welcome rest at the end of the day, as well as a rare glimpse into the culture of the warm and hospitable Gurung communities who manage them.

Although trekking is possible throughout the year each season has different advantages and attractions and advantages offer for trekking in Kopra. The temperature in the mountains also depends according to the altitude range – higher the altitude, lower the temperature.

7 days Kopra Ridge trekking is an easy grade trek in Annapurna region. The hiking is generally 4 to 5 hrs a day, taking regular breaks to capture the stunning mountain views. Trek routes are fairly ascent, descent and straightforward following a well-established trials but this is adventure trekking have to walk along the remote trials in the Himalaya. Trekkers who are able to hike 4 to 5 hours a day at a reasonable pace with a light day pack can take part in our 7 day Kopra ridge trekking.some days require longer waking hours. So you must be reasonably fit and prepared for long days. Trekking in higher altitude is physically demanding than trekking in the lower altitudes.to join our 7 days Kopra Ridge trekking, all participants should be in good health condition with normal physical fitness and have positive attitude, self confidence, and strong determination. It is very important to make sure you are as healthy as possible before starting trek. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung and blood disease should inform us before booking the trek.

There is mobile phone coverage on the most of the routes, But this service may not be reliable, depending on which network you use. Upon your request, we can provide you with separate local SIM card with good access for talking to family and surrounding friends through your cell phone.although Some days at high altitude, there is no mobile network facility.
