Day | Highlights |

Day 1 | Welcome to Kathmandu |
Day 2 | Drive from Pokhara Vijayapur; Trek to Kalikasthan After breakfast, we drive to Vijayapur Khola and begin our trek from here. We walk about an hour through the flat rice fields and cross the river. If you are doing this trek in the summer the river may be difficult to cross if it is flooded. After crossing the river the trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan. Lunch will be served at the middle of the climb. Arrive at Kalikasthan and camp at the top of the grassy land or choose a good guest house for overnight stay. |
Day 3 | Trek from Kalikasthan to Syanglung. After breakfast, we start walking through the villages. We walk on the ridge of the mountain with good views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. Overnight camping in Syaglung or find a guest house for overnight stay. |
Day 4 | Trek from Syanglung to chisapani. Today we walk through the Gurung Village, rhododendron and Sal forest. Half way through the walk there is a 400 meter descent and 600 meter ascent to arrive at Chisapani (cold water place). This is the best point to see the Himalayan Panorama. You will see Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna. Overnight camping in Chisapani or find a guest house for overnight stay. |
Day 5 | Trek from Chisapani to Pokhara. Today we walk half way down hill to Rupatal and climb about 200 meters to arrive at Sundare danda and walk 15 minutes down to Begnas Tal for an hour's boating to catch the transfer to Pokhara. Overnight hotel in Pokhara. |
Day 6 | Drive from Pokhara to Rafting point then to Chitwan National Park. After breakfast, drive to rafting point (Trisuli River for White water Rafting) It takes approximately 2 and half hrs drive from Pokhara. This River is popular as access to the Prithivi Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. Trisuli River is also an ideal beginner's River. Lunch we'll be served after 3/4 hrs rafting in the riverside. After lunch, drive to Chitwan National Park upon arrival, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities. 4:00 PM: Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. 8:00 PM: Dinner and overnight at resort. |
Day 7 | Jungle activities in the Chitwan National Park. 5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceeds on a Nature Walk. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. 8:30 AM: Breakfast 9:30 AM: Elephant briefing program: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stable. (For the brave ones there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephants) 1:00 PM: LUNCH. After lunch, Canoeing: A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks. Back to resort through the Jungle. 7:00 PM: Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances. 8:00 PM: Dinner around the campfire. Overnight at resort. |
Day 8 | Drive from Chitwan national park to Kathmandu. 5:30 AM: Bird Watching (or another elephant ride) after early morning tea/coffee. 8:00 AM: Breakfast 9:00 AM: Luggage down and departure at 9:30 AM: to Kathmandu. The actual program for your stay, will be given to you on arrival at Resort / camp. The activities are adjusted to the season and weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgment at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety. End Services. |

Royal Trek with Jungle Safari is an easy trek as compared to others. And our company also provides well skilled guides and potters to help you during the trek. People with weak ankles, lungs, hearts problems may suffer more difficulty on trekking. Well preparation is needed for every trek.
Guides and potters provided to our guests had complete accomplishment of several training required for their professions by the Ministry of Nepal Tourism. Having well experience in tourism sector as a guide or potter, make easy to explain all the information required for trekking and can create very familiar environment to the guests.
As all the porters and guides are well certified by the Ministry of Nepal tourism they can easily understand and speak English languages during the trek. On the other hand, we can also provide you guides and potters according to your own understanding languages.
It’s difficult to mention about tipping which is up to your happiness, but guides and potters do expect the tips at the end of the trip. However, normally people can give minimum 10% of their total payment to the guide and porter.
During a stay at a jungle retreat you will be either staying in good comfortable lodges with attached bathroom and insect nets or comfortable permanent tented camps. The standard of accommodation is of a very high standard, safe and clean.
Security and safety are the high priority of our company however there are risks associated with adventure travel, that you should consider before booking .Our trip operators constantly monitor their areas of operation and will cancel or re-route a trip if they feel a destination is unsafe.
